Rose is an elegant, upright, young alpaca with good bone, who showed us attitude from the moment she was born. She has a lovely head, when in full fleece, is covered in curls. She “placed” 6th at Heart of the Valley show in 2005, the judge complementing her on her good bone and carriage. This was an extremely competitive class, from which the black female color and reserve champions were pulled. Her bright fiber is fine and silky, with a soft hand. This fiber earned her 100 points out of 100 possible at the Alpacapalooza Spin-Off . Rose is a leader in the herd, preferring to go her own way. This has been true from the first. Rose’s easy, without incident, birth occurred at 10:00 PM, an unusual happenstance except in cases of dystocia. Each time she walks by one can almost hear the strains of the tune “I gotta be me!” in the air. Rose's 2006 cria, LF del A Lily, out of SRR Khasino, is an absolute stuuner and Rose has shown herself to be an excellent mom. We have paired Rose with Victor's Julius, a stunning dark brown male whose crias have been outstanding show ring winners. We expect a crimpy, dense finely fibered little one.
