Chrysanthemum is quite simply gorgeous from her beautiful topknot and sweet feminine face to her lovely straight legs.
Although a Fall cria, she was vigorous and grew rapidly from day one… catching and then topping other crias in the herd that were several months younger than she.
Chrysanthemum is from a line of heavy fiber producing females… her grand dam consistently shears 8 to 10 pounds and actually gave us 13 pounds her first shearing… this while very pregnant. Lacey, Chrysanthemum’s dam, each year shears 4.5 to 5 pounds from the blanket alone. June ’06 was Chrysanthemum’s first shearing and at less than a year old, she sheared 2.0 pounds from the blanket alone.
Although light fawn herself, Chrysanthemum’s father is black as is his sire and dam, and her grand sire on her dam's side, is medium rose gray, so we have every reason to believe that this young lady is actually a black or gray in disguise.
This 1/4 Peruvian young lady is sweet, friendly, tractable yet mischievous, bringing us much joy and laughter.
Chrysanthemum is confirmed pregnant to Xanadu After Hours, a stunning true black Reserve Color Champion. |
