LF del A Miss Daphne

We've named most of our females for flowers and our males for trees. The name of each flower or tree has a meaning, which we pass along to you here. Laurel
Price: $6,500
ARI#: 31461443
DOB: 07/22/08
Color: White
Category: Experienced Female
Breed: Huacaya

Miss Daphne is a unique combination of some of the best known, highest quality names in the white Huacaya lexicon. This 7/8 Peruvian gem’s pedigree includes PPPeruvian Moustachio, NWA LTD Juliana (Eastwind’s impact herd matriarch), 4Peruvian Pachacuti, Peruvian Presidio, Maple Brook Fandango, Peruvian Bueno, PPeruvian Caligula, Eastwind’s Andino, and Acero Marka’s Mr Know It All.

There is also a dash of color in this pedigree, from the dam side; Royal Peruvian Challenger (DRG), 4Peruvian Chaval (MB) PPPeruvian Aphrodite (BG) and when bred to color, color usually prevails.

This combination of iconic genes has culminated in exactly what one would expect, a beautiful, typey, correctly conformed, brightly crimped fleecy little flower.

She comes from our most gentle, easy birthing, reliable female lines known affectionately on the farm as ‘The Laurel Family.” In fact when we sold her great grandmother, Laurel, our vet demanded to know why we were selling her… he enjoyed working with her so much. Our answer to him is the same as to you; this line has been wonderfully generous, providing us with many gorgeous females and we’ve felt confident that each one would add value to a quality foundation herd. And each time we have offered one of the “Laurels,” male or female, they have flown off the farm.

Miss Daphne would be a great addition to an established breeding program that focuses on white or as the standout white in a colored program.

She sells with a breeding to AJ’s Peruvian Valentino, a light fawn 5X Color Champ/Reserve Color Champ… because every pedigree needs a little Victor!
