IT'S CONFIRMED, "PK" HAS SETTLED HIS FIRST FEMALE, AND ON THE FIRST DATE!

We're over the moon... Pearly King is the 2017 AOA National Fleece Show Reserve Color Champion Grey Male!!

His first histogram is also just in... lovely!

AFD: 18.4
SD: 3.5
CV: 18.8
CF: 99.5
Staple: 95.0 mm

Ian Watt reports, "Pearly King has the softest handle I can remember in an alpaca for a very long time, really something!!" :-)

"PK's" second histogram (21 months) just in:

AFD: 17.6
SD: 3.1
CV: 17.8 %
CF: 99.9 %
Curve: 51.2 Dg/mm
Staple: 90.0 mm

This guy is holding his fineness, consistency and staple length beautifully! In fact, his numbers have decreased a bit from his 1st histogram.

We think he's something special, but don't take our word. Here's what the judge at CABA halter show had to say:

"The best overall package. Well balanced and proportioned."

"His fleece is very consistent, has a high degree of definition, uniformity, wonderfully fine and dense."

"Extremely true to type and a wonderful representation of the Huacaya breed."

Pearly King is beautifully bred; the son of Annual's Bea-2 Bomber, and Wicklow Glen's Steele Pearl. Both parents are multiple champions.
